-
core workshop
Core ‘How am I’ weeks allow you/your patients to stop and connect with how you are truly feeling. This can be privately expressed through a guided, fun and creative activity. These are ran fortnightly, and ‘listeners’ are available to talk to privately at attendee’s discrection throughout the session
For staff only sessions (The Therapeutic Hour: Professionals), these are usually Core workshop sessions only (unless requested otherwise to address staff specific problems). We also offer you additional engaging, fun, yet relaxing, activities.
The aim is to facilitate unwinding and de-stressing, after/during the working day. We expect you to see improvements in:
Mood/Overall well-being
Concentration/Focus
Morale
Productivity
Empathy and kindness to staff and patients
And much more…

themed workshops
A short talk will be given in relation to the theme on how to address or manage it, in simple, effective and healthy ways. Self-reflection and development will be aided through an anonymous, ice breaking question and answer activity, often designed to address stigmas. For the main part of the session (30-40minutes), a creative and engaging activity led by the workshop lead, will help attendee’s to practically address the topic covered. Activities will usually be a ‘soft’ and simple, therapeutic inspired technique. Themes include:
Worry/Anxiety
Low-mood/Depression
Self-care
Anger
Burnout
Loss
Childhood Trauma
Domestic Violence
Confidence/Self-esteem
All themes will be discussed amongst all patient specific groups. They will be aimed at addressing the theme from the angle of the patient’s demographic group i.e: TTH: Mens workshop on low mod/depression, will target common male specific triggers and offer techniques to combat this.
