That’s where our Therapeutic Listeners come in. Why let mental struggle slip in unnoticed, leaving you unsupported while waiting months for traditional therapy/counselling? And when it finally arrives, the process can feel rigid, with limited options… unless your able to pay the equivalent of a mortgage each month for private sessions… not to mention the lack of flexibility in scheduling.

We’re not a therapy service, instead we ensure you have consistent, weekly support for your mental health, provided by one of our trained professionals. We are here for all situations — nothing is off-limits. We also offer spiritual listeners for those who seek encouragement grounded in Christian principles; providing reminders of hope and uplifting scripture for your situation. You don’t have to be religious or of a certain faith, simply open to receiving support that nourishes the soul.

If holistic support isn’t what you’re looking for, our regular Therapeutic Listeners (TL’s) are here to gently guide, encourage, and support you through any challenges you’re facing.

FAQs

  • Yes! We supplement traditional therapy very well. TL’s offer a space to unpack what comes up for you on your counselling or therapy journey. You could release the things you may not get time to share in your traditional sessions.

  • It’s up to you how you use our service. We recommend taking time out to express how you are truly feeling. Nothing is off-limits, so use this unique oppourtunity to release your deepest thoughts. If you prefer to keep it light, this is perfectly fine to. There are no rules.

    We ask you if you would prefer to work week by week, or if you rather discuss ongoing or deep rooted issues.

  • TL’s will write a detailed, thoughtful communication in response to you each week via our secure emailing platform.

    Please try to keep to a set day which you respond each week to give our Listeners more time to thoughtfully help and respond to you. You can submit your weekly correspondence only once for the week so please take your time to ensure you share all that you intend.

    We recommend keeping a journal or notebook to jot down things you notice/things of importance over the week that would be useful to share and process in this safe space.

  • Of course, if you no longer wish to recieve weekly support from our TL’s, you can unsubscribe at anytime.

    You are always welcome back. Our flexible service means if you are on holiday or unwell, we can still be easily and conveniently accessed via secure platform.

  • We believe the poorest and most vulnerable in society should have first access to this service. We are working to create free spaces for you to recieve this vital support free of charge. Please bear with us as we try to meet demand. Contact us using the contact form if you would like to apply for a free or discounted Therapeutic Listener. Someone can also donate you one using our giving page.
